The conflict-check form

When you send the form on the Contact page, the information you enter (your name, organization, email address, telephone number if given, your role, the type of matter, the names of the parties, timing, and any message) is delivered to john@jaswarlaw.com by the website’s hosting provider, Netlify, which also stores a copy in the site’s form records. That information is used only to check for conflicts of interest and to respond to your inquiry. Party names supplied for conflict purposes are retained in the practice’s conflicts records so that future checks are accurate; other details are kept only as long as needed to respond. The information is not sold, shared or used for marketing.

Please do not include confidential or privileged detail in the form. Sending the form does not create an attorney-client relationship or an engagement.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. Typefaces and images are served from this site, not from third parties. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operational purposes under its own privacy policy.

Email and telephone

If you contact the practice directly by email or telephone, the details you provide are used to respond to you and, where an engagement follows, are handled under the terms of that engagement and the professional obligations that apply to a California attorney and neutral.

Your choices

You may ask what information the practice holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where no professional or legal obligation requires it to be kept. Write to john@jaswarlaw.com.
